Just as I promised I would post every day this week, I missed a day! Mary Poppins would call that a Pie Crust Promise - easily made, easily broken. My excuse was a half term trip to the cinema. Percy Jackson and and the Lightening Thief. A fabulous film, move over Harry Potter!
I am really enjoying this half term, my little ones, now 9 and 7 are a little more independent, and the way we spend our time is changing. Ivy and I like reading together, close but quiet. Oscar and I have been loving Dog the Bounty Hunter, and actually have it on series link!
My real revelation this week has to be that I have discovered that it is VERY easy to crochet at the pictures. Enough light (just) enough room, over two hours of sitting and not moving perfect. I wish I had discovered it 7 years ago, that would have saved a lot of tiresome animated hours spent at our local flicks.
I think we're seeing Percy Jackson this weekend, glad to hear its a good movie. And how funny, I met a woman today who says Dog the Bounty Hunter is her all-time favorite show... Hmm... :)

"Close but quiet" sounds perfect! I think you can be forgiven for not posting... crochet at the pictures sounds like the perfect excuse. A x
