Spring is most definitely here, days are deliciously longer and at last the temperatures are on the up. That seemed like a looooooong winter.
We had our May Day celebrations yesterday, Oscar did a fine job of the Single Braid, and I bravely joined in with the Mummies finale. I love that our school makes a deal out of May Day, the little ones love it.
Should you wish to create a little May Day Magic, hop quick like a bunny over here.
Enjoy the (extended) weekend x
I'm delighted that children still dance the maypole, I loved it when I was at school.

It's June. Where are you?! I found your fab blog recently and have devoured it from start to finish. I have a new little blog and I'm busy trying to fill it up but you will be in my blog list in my side bar as you are in my favourites. I check in every couple of days in the hope that you have added a post. x x x x

I love spring! It's so cool to celebrate May Day. For the first time this year, I was going to make May Day baskets for my bf and my son because we don't celebrate Easter. It just approached too quickly and I didn't have my act together, though, so I didn't. Next year! My son is only 11 months, so I don't think it's too late to make a tradition out of it!
